Family Radio is a private household push-to-talk walkie for 2–8 people. This page is a placeholder for a future App Store privacy URL.
This Safari prototype
- Runs entirely on your device (localStorage + IndexedDB).
- Does not contact Apple or any Family Radio server.
- “Sign in with Apple” is a local demo stub only.
- Microphone audio stays on this device as short clips (max 15s).
- Drops auto-expire after 48 hours in local storage.
- No public discovery, no DMs, no chat, no photos, no analytics backend.
Intended native app (future)
A shipping iOS app would use Sign in with Apple, private CloudKit for household sync, and Apple Push / ActivityKit for incoming drops. Voice drops would be encrypted at rest for the household only — never public channels.
